Grief & Loss
Grief is a natural human response to loss. It's a complex emotional journey we experience after the death of a loved one, the end of a significant relationship, or even the loss of a pet, job, or dream. While grief is a universal experience, it manifests differently for everyone.
There's no right or wrong way to grieve. You might experience a range of emotions, including:
-
Sadness and despair: This profound sense of loss can be overwhelming and leave you feeling empty.
-
Anger and frustration: You might feel angry at the person you lost, at yourself, or even at the world for feeling this pain.
-
Guilt and regret: You may dwell on "what ifs" or things you wish you had done differently.
-
Denial and disbelief: Especially in the initial stages, you might struggle to accept the reality of the loss.
-
Loneliness and isolation: The absence of your loved one can leave you feeling incredibly alone.
-
Physical symptoms: Grief can manifest physically through fatigue, changes in appetite, or sleep disturbances.
There's no set timeline for grief. Healing is a personal process that unfolds at its own pace, however if you are really struggling in every day life, I can help.
